We are seeking a self-motivated, self-disciplined, and self-driven SEO and Social Media specialist with an entrepreneurial spirit and a detailed technical knowledge of SEO best practices to join our team.

Analyze, review, and implement changes to websites so they are optimized for search engines. This candidate will be able to implement actionable strategies that will improve site visibility. The SEO and Social Media Specialist is responsible for driving organic growth to the website through the implementation of proven SEO strategies and creative solutions. The ideal candidate will be able to execute on existing initiatives built around keyword visibility, content optimization, site performance and technical SEO issues and warnings.

Tasks: 

  • Experience working with CMS environments
  • Implementing Schema
  • Link building
  • Meetings with clients to review SEO progress and implementation
  • SEO analytics
  • Social Media best practices
  • Create social media posts for clients
  • Execute on and help continually refine our SEO strategy
  • Suggest improvements in process and productivity optimization
  • Implementation of on-page and off-page SEO optimization
  • Diagnosis and resolving organic traffic and SEO issues
  • Setting up proper performance tracking on-site domains
  • Study search demand and intent to identify growth opportunities for our websites
  • Implementing Google Search Console and Google Analytics
  • Staying up to date on the latest SEO news
  • Monitor site audit issues and implement corrective measures
  • Collaborate with web developers and marketing team
  • Advising on best practices and site architecture
  • Content and/or blog post ideas for improved SEO
  • Other responsibilities as assigned 

 

Need to have:

  • 2 - 5 years of SEO experience, either at an agency or in-house
  • Comprehensive knowledge of organic search, search engine ranking algorithms, both on-page, and off-page SEO activities
  • Experience with keyword research, strategy assessments, and competitive analyses
  • Strong experience with Schema.org, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, Google Analytics, Yext, and SEMRush
  • Proven experience successfully managing and implementing technical SEO initiatives with a clear understanding of crawl errors, redirection, duplication, and site speed
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically with a history of successfully identifying and solving difficult website problems
  • Proven experience finding, analyzing, and assimilating market and customer data into SEO strategies
  • Be a self-starter and able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Experience working remotely in a similar role is strongly preferred

 

What you’ll do: 

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies; identifying short-term and long term objectives including keyword list development, site architecture optimizations, content creation and optimization, link acquisition, and other strategies that maximize indexing, average rank, CTR, on-site conversion, and growth of SEO traffic
  • Manage execution of SEO initiatives; define SEO requirements with product, marketing, and engineering teams and ensure adequate testing and reporting pre and post implementation
  • Create Social Media posts for our clients to post
  • Use web analytics and SEO tools to monitor, analyze and optimize website activity, traffic trends, server log activity, SERP rankings and customer acquisition metrics, through weekly and ad-hoc reports
  • Regularly monitor our sites and competitors’ sites for SEO health and best practices.
  • Act as an SEO evangelist by effectively communicating opportunities and risks across all parts of the organization.
