As the Demand Generation Director at Healthgrades, you work closely with Product Marketing to define the demand gen strategy for each product portfolio and own the planning and execution of demand programs across those portfolios. You work closely with sales leadership and front-line regional sales managers to ensure seamless communication and create continuity for demand gen programs and lead to opportunity hand-off processes.  You own the health system web strategy and martech platform and have responsibility for ensuring the website is an optimized instrument for lead conversion. 

Additionally, you’re responsible for creating and driving account-based marketing (ABM) strategy, ensuring accurate segmentation for marketing programs, analyzing insights for program performance and driving optimizations across marketing touchpoints. You drive to results, and are collaborative and analytical strategic thinker, who is also an effective influencer.

 What you will do:

·        Lead the demand generation function to drive predictable, scalable, and repeatable early stage sales pipeline with focus on conversion to revenue.

·        Conceptualize, execute, and continually innovate high touch, multi-channel marketing programs (events, digital, content, email, web, direct mail, paid advertising, social and account-based marketing) that support and align with the company’s priorities, pipeline and revenue goals. Expand reach with prospects while effectively re-engaging and nurturing existing customers.

·        Manage third-party marketing resources (list building, advertising, media, etc.) to execute against holistic strategy. 

·        Partner with our marketing analyst and marketing automation manager to drive an effective MQL and lead-to opportunity hand-off process. 

·        Work with the marketing analyst to build, maintain and evolve account level marketing attribution models to quantify the effect of demand gen programs on pipeline and revenue across channels. Partner with our marketing analyst to establish KPIs for all programs, create results forecasts, and track performance to ensure marketing plans are delivering expected business outcomes 

·        Own the department’s marketing technology stack, including the marketing automation platform, integrations, lead scoring model and the lead nurturing programs and consistently optimize the stack. Recommend innovative tools for improved engagement and conversions 

·        Make recommendations for content to optimize funnel and conversion. Identify content, assets, and offers to leverage for all prospect campaigns; utilize existing content and generate new ideas/requests to fill content gaps. Bring a testing and optimization framework to each approach, constantly striving to improve past performance 

·        Collaborate with product marketing and content creation to develop content distribution plans across marketing channels (social networks, paid ads, content syndication, blog, display, web and email). 

·        Ensure the website is optimized for conversions and tracking and has the necessary content to inspire prospective customers to convert and the ability to report out on results.  

 What you will bring:

·        8+ years’ experience in marketing Demand/Lead Gen role, preferably for B2B SaaS company. 

·        Strong technical and user proficiency in Salesforce.com and a marketing automation platform (Eloqua or Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred)

·        Experience/knowledge of content management systems, Google Analytics / Adobe Analytics (Omniture), and SEO best practices a plus. Prior experience leading website strategy and conversion optimization desired.

·        Significant experience partnering with SaaS sales organizations to develop and execute integrated programs, strategies and operations. Proven track record of end-to-end sales funnel-building (lead generation, MQL qualification, handoffs and advancing through sales stages)  

·        Proven experience scaling demand generation programs (inbound and outbound marketing) and evolving marketing programs based on performance data, feedback from sales and understanding of the business. Strong campaign orchestration, message optimization, persona and buying cycle experience required

·        Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment with competing priorities

·        Creativity to build innovative programs that engage prospects and optimize marketing dollars.

·        Proven capacity for exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills are critical. Ability to work with staff in multiple geographies.

·        Ability to balance strategic initiatives and hands-on implementation of demand generation programs 

·        Obsessed with metrics, data and performance 

·        Ability to build relationships with different roles and departments and communicate information quickly and succinctly
