Customer Marketing Specialist
The Customer Marketing team is looking for a superstar to join us as bring forward the voice of our core customers in the form of use case stories and advocate activity. This individual will be responsible for developing and nurturing long-term strategic marketing relationships with Conga’s most innovative customers by aligning customer marketing needs across the entire company with an integrated approach, keeping our customers' and sales partners' experience top of mind.
The ideal candidate is an individual that has experience working with customers or partners, great relationship-building skills and enjoys the blend of marketing, sales and business development to align with corporate go to market plans. The role requires a strategic thinker to position joint marketing opportunities and get our customers excited to share their success stories and domain expertise with peers. This person will develop a deep understanding of our customers and their success stories, have excellent written and visual communication skills, and must thrive operating in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment with a focus on B2B customer success.
Activate public voice of customer through creation of customer assets for demand gen campaigns, customer speaker bureau, peer to peer speaking customer convos, industry customer award submissions, online reviews, customer stories for sales enablement, press. Will include developing and managing customer presentations and working with customers to secure commitment to participate in ongoing marketing activities (i.e. events, speaking engagements, thought leadership, digital content etc.). Recruiting and fulfilling reference requests in support of Core Customer advocate program.
Role And Responsibilities
Prioritize and collaborate on top customer accounts for integrated joint marketing journeys by aligning with Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, C-Suite Marketing, PR and more.
Strategically align with Product Marketing stakeholders to identify key production value and map to customer use case and experience.
Develop and curate tailored marketing journeys to showcase how our thought-leading customers are driving transformation with Conga.
Manage every stage of the co-marketing relationship lifecycle with exceptional attention to detail, making the engagement as easy for the customer as possible.
Identify new projects and opportunities to amplify the impact of customer marketing. Lead and coordinate major programs that include multiple departments and goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and customer constituencies, including creative, legal, finance, support, sales and marketing experts.
Research recruit and fulfill requests from Sales and Marketing for customer participation in reference calls, speaking sessions and other go to marketing activities and programs.
Support company events by confirming customer participation and highlighting their success.
Be an effective business partner and provide consistent and clear communication.
Own execution excellence of programs and projects
2-4 years of relevant work experience (customer or partner marketing, sales, customer success.), including customer-facing experience.
Proven experience effectively driving consensus across diverse teams in multiple departments, time zones, and functions with individual priorities.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
Demonstrated ability to deliver positive customer experiences.
Experience in launching new and innovative ideas.
Strong relationship-building skills with extreme attention to detail.
Excellent writing, Google Slide and PowerPoint skills.
Can-do, positive, inspiring attitude with an outside-the-box, innovative and creative mindset.
Passion for software-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service and enterprise software marketsThe pay range for this position in Colorado is minimum $83,075.00 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
