Based in Boulder, Colorado, Scaled Agile is a member of the Pledge 1% corporate philanthropy movement, SAI contributes to the local community and seeks to inspire and encourage other companies to the same purpose.

Overview of the Position:

You’ll love this new role if you are excited to connect Global 2000 audiences to a new, more efficient way of working using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You’ll be working closely with Course Owners to align Scaled Agile’s learning and certification portfolio to a shared set of standards unified under one brand, a cohesive set of messaging, content and campaigns.  You will help define and disseminate the value proposition for SAFe Certification. You will be responsible for working with our Enterprise Solutions, Partner Development, Community Success and other teams to develop enablement tools and go to market plans.

A day in our open, collaborative workspace might look like:

  • A conversation with Course Owners on the state of their course development or pairing with them on the curriculum roadmap
  • Understanding the customer needs driving course development and translating those needs into positioning and talking points for Solutions, Partner and Community teams.
  • Conducting research to understand the competitive landscape w/r/t courses and certifications
  • Developing a go to market plan to determine how to best deploy new and updated products to support internal teams and external markets
  • And more...

In this role, you will grow and expand your expertise by:

  • Participating in “Gemba” - getting out in the field to develop your knowledge of how the SAFe curriculum is being received in the market, how the messaging could be relentlessly improved and seeing where campaigns are/are not resonating with Scaled Agile’s target audiences
  • Pairing with Product Managers and Course Owners to analyze markets, define market needs and align products, messaging and roll out plans.
  • Partnering directly with a world-class partner and enterprise solutions organization focused on building long term, valuable, scalable relationships with our enterprise buyers
  • Owning the overall messaging and position for Scaled Agile’s learning and certification
  • Attending training on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to deepen your knowledge of enterprise agility

You’ll know if you’re successful when:

  • New and updated courses, certifications and learning is delivered smoothly to the market.

You’ll join the Scaled Agile team:

  • Focused on improving the way people develop software and systems in Lean Enterprises around the world, while improving morale and shortening time-to-market
  • A group committed to working in an Agile fashion using SAFe to run the business
  • Learners & problem-solvers dedicated to building a successful, high-growth company
  • Committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment that you’d support every day

What you’ll add – as an individual and part of the broader team:

  • 6+ years as a product manager in a learning/training environment with a demonstrated history of successfully coordinating with internal teams to enable them and bring products to market
  • Hands-on skills writing content, developing presentations, creating marketing materials and messaging.
  • Experience and excitement about aligning products and value propositions to audiences
  • Experience in a fast-growing company with the ability to act with a sense of urgency
  • Familiarity with Agile practices - SAFe knowledge a plus
  • Something else? Wonderful, we’re curious to learn more about you!

Where you’ll be working:

This position is located in our corporate headquarters and learning center in Boulder, Colorado.

We are a growing organization with a proven revenue model and a serious opportunity to be the global market leader in software and systems development knowledgeware.

This is a place for people who love technology environments, geek out on methodologies and are always thinking about how things can be improved. While we have free snacks and a nice office environment, Foosball and a kegerator are not what we’re about.

An Insider's view of Scaled Agile, Inc.

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

There are many things that excite me about working at Scale Agile. High on the list is the fact that everyone in the organization truly embraces a work-life balance. We are humans first, and that is respected every day.

Eric

Director, Global Events

What projects are you most excited about?

Working at Scaled Agile gives the opportunity to impact global change. Creating solutions that increase the joy of working within the world’s most impactful organizations fills me with deep purpose every day.

Rebecca

Framework Team

What does career growth look like on your team?

At Scaled Agile I started with basic copyediting and QA testing, progressed to content development, and now have been a scrum master for over two years. I was allowed and actually encouraged to reach outside my lane, and I continue to explore my interests: even if that means I contribute to a different team or domain.

Emma

Scrum Master

What's the biggest problem your team is solving?

One of our biggest challenges is supporting international expansion and growth. In two short years, we’ve transformed from having English-only materials to providing courses and learning materials in seven different languages. We have more work to do but I’m thrilled that our customers are learning and practicing SAFe® in their own language.

Yuka

Director of Globalization Services
