Job Summary

As our marketing manager, you will own customer-facing communications and facilitate the evolution of our product through strategic content creation. The ideal candidate is someone who demonstrates autonomy to get stuff done, tests new ideas, reports on what works/doesn’t work, and optimizes from there. The primary objective of the content manager is to write engaging content that converts leads to customers and connects us to our users. This position reports to the COO.

 

Responsibilities

  • Writing informative and/or instructional content for a variety of mediums: blogs, email campaigns, video scripts, white papers, product feature breakdowns, event collateral, customer spotlight articles. You understand analytics for each vertical (blog, social, email, website) and are able to adjust strategy based on data.

  • Producing web and email content. Adobe Premier experience preferred. 

  • Developing and managing an editorial calendar that provides valuable content, improves SEO, and helps generate leads. 

  • Understanding and creating content that aligns with customer persona's interests and needs - B2B experience preferred

  • Optimizing content for search engines and social media

  • Strategizing and testing new content formats to engage the ever-changing technology user
     

About You

  • 3+ years of marketing, digital marketing, or content marketing experience in a SaaS or product-related role

  • You can write sharp and proactive copy that leads to conversion

  • You can write awesome and engaging product marketing copy

  • You are empathetic. At the core of your work lies a nugget of human insight, and an understanding of how to apply this to your writing for specific audiences.

  • You are a radical simplifier. You see the through line beneath complicated ideas and can convey them with clarity, purpose, and simplicity.

  • You attend to detail, can flex your organizational muscles, and have an eye for consistency.

  • You have superb communication skills.

  • You are energized by working in a collaborative environment. You know when to go heads-down, while at the same time you understand that the best ideas are the product of creative collaboration.

  • You are flexible and work well in an ever-changing, results-driven, deadline focused environment.

  • You are proactive and take initiative.

  • A flair for appealing content design and layout

  • Excellent independent and team collaboration skills

  • Extreme attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership

  • Self-motivated problem solver – ability to research solutions and learn independently

  • Ability to multitask multiple initiatives and meet tight deadlines
