GutCheck is an agile, tech enabled market research firm that provides deep audience intelligence. Our clients require deep insights on their target audiences, to help them better product ideate, product develop and brand. We help make heroes of our clients and aid them in making dozens of product development and marketing decisions!

What is a Content Strategy Manager at GutCheck?

You will join our small but nimble marketing team! You will own and evolve our content marketing discipline into a best-in-class program that educates, engages, and converts our target audience and drives them to become customers.

What should you know before applying to this role?

You will be the only Content Marketing Manager on the team and in the company. There will be a lot of autonomy in this role and an expectation that you will execute the current roadmap and come up with new ideas and strategies along the way.

What type of clients do we work with and what type of work do we do?

Many of our clients are in the CPG industry but we also work in tech, food service, retail, healthcare, and B2B. We are a tech enabled services company, holding our client's hands every step of the way.

Here is a glimpse of what this role entails, is this right for you?

  • Own and manage the overarching marketing content strategy and guide the creation and usage of content assets
  • Work closely with the Demand Generation and Sales teams to understand content gaps and own the plan and editorial calendar to fill them
  • Provide direction to internal and external resources to produce necessary assets
  • Enable Sales teams to effectively leverage major content pieces (eBooks, press releases, website) in their prospecting efforts
  • Act as marketing team and company proofreader/editor (internal and external)
  • Co-own marketing calendar including research plan with the Demand Generation team
  • Be responsible for tracking and reporting on relevant content metrics
  • Own the development of website copy/content and solution messaging

Here are some things we are looking for...

  • Have solid experience in marketing or content creation (ideally in high-tech B2B industry)
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Can leverage analytics to understand trends and make decisions-based metrics
