CONTENT OPERATIONS MANAGER

PlaceWise Digital is in looking of a top-notch Content Operations Manager to help manage our Content Operations team!  This is a challenging position that offers the right person an opportunity to contribute to the changing face of digital media for the retail industry.  This role will allow the successful candidate to wear many hats and grow in operations, account management and marketing.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following areas:

Retailer Account Management - Manage and grow current retailer relationships within our network.

  • Support and maintain current retailer relationships
  • Create monthly outreach and touchpoint with retailers
  • Grow current retailer accounts program
  • Affiliate relationship growth, support and maintenance
  • Daily and Monthly Tracking and reporting
     

Deal Content Operations Management - Manage and lead an offshore data entry team.

  • Manage and monitor data integrity/accuracy
  • Weekly/Monthly reporting and tracking
  • Coordination with off-site processing team

Editorial Operations Management - Manage outsourced editorial team and content.

  • Create monthly editorial calendar
  • Coordinated, review and edit all editorial content
  • Upload and manage editorial content
  • Image curation and management
  • Weekly Email development, scheduling and support
  • Product curation and processing

Social Media & Marketing Management

  • Create, manage and maintain marketing calendars for all PlaceWise Digital publications, including our blog, emails, social media.
  • Coordinate and create the monthly client-facing newsletter, “Engage.”
  • Manage PlaceWise’s social media profiles (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram) and actively create and publish/share all social media content.
  • Manage PlaceWise company blog schedule - post weekly blog articles on marketing & social media trends, product releases, and industry news.
  • Work closely with the Product Manager, Sales team, and Creative team to create new and/or update existing marketing content and documentation, such as product descriptions, sell sheets, sales presentations, marketing collateral, etc.

​​​​​​​Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or equivalent education/experience.
  • Analytical, data-driven mindset. Likes to strategize and improve upon current process and tactics.
  • Ability to quickly become well-versed in PlaceWises’ business and familiar with its product offerings and internal systems.
  • Must successfully manage a variety of projects and assignments and serve a variety of internal and external clients simultaneously.
  • Must be interested in the shopping center and retail tech industries.
  • Must have a passion for writing, marketing writing, and copyediting.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and Google cloud apps (Google Drive, Calendars, Spreadsheets, etc.), as well as a working knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, Dropbox, and Dreamweaver.
  • Proficient at all social media platforms.
