Wishlist is an HR technology company out to create happier, more inspired employees with our rewards and recognition software. We are hiring a Content Marketing Specialist to help grow the Wishlist brand and become a thought leader in the industry.
Job description:
The Content Marketing Specialist at Wishlist will take ownership of content marketing, including content strategy, creation, and distribution. We are looking for a structured creative that understands the role that content plays in the marketing and sales process, has a knack for writing compelling copy, and is able to wear multiple hats. Furthermore, the Content Marketing Specialist will demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, believe in the mission and vision, and align with our company core values.
What you will do:
Create and manage editorial calendars for the Wishlist blog and social media accounts
Manage the publishing of all blog and social media content
Create compelling long and short-form content
Continuously update web copy and monitor impact using SEO data
Interview company and industry thought leaders to help generate content topics
Work with sales, marketing, operations and product teams to update copy for all external-facing communication
Assist in the general distribution of press releases and media alerts
Provide additional support to marketing our company
Qualifications:
2+ years of content and/or marketing experience
In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with social media analytics, including Google Analytics and Facebook Insights
Basic knowledge of Photoshop and/or any graphic design tool
Able to provide a portfolio that demonstrates your talent
Self-motivated and the ability to wear multiple hats
Bonus if you have experience with shooting and/or editing video
