With the small business owner and entrepreneur as your target reader, you'll have the opportunity to touch the nation's creators and innovators with unique perspectives on the trends and technologies that affect the small business economy, providing insights that will help them be successful!

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to write persuasively across multiple platforms (web, email, social, mobile, print, video), the passion to work for a fast-growth technology company, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

 What you'll be doing:

  • Writing informative or instructional content for a variety of mediums, including: blogs, ebooks, newsletters, infographics, email campaigns, video scripts, whitepapers, website feature breakdowns, microsites, event collateral, customer spotlight articles, and more.
  • Producing web, email, print content. Video a plus!
  • Helping organize and design publication layouts for online and print
  • Helping craft, organize, and optimize the editorial calendar that drives engaged readers
  • Understanding and creating content that aligns with a buyer persona's interests and needs
  • Optimizing content for search engines and social media
  • Strategizing and testing new content formats to engage of the ever-changing mobile consumer

Key skills & qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of marketing, digital marketing, or content marketing experience
  • A love and knack for writing concise, engaging content that combines research and informative concepts with imagination and creativity
  • A demonstrated ability to drive traffic and track engagement with your writing
  • You’ve already spotted a grammar error in this resume (you’re a grammar grinch)
  • An eye for appealing content design and layout
  • Expertise with various design and publishing tools:  WordPress, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch
  • Strong understanding of html editing
  • Excellent independent and team collaboration skills
  • Extreme attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership
  • Self-motivated problem solver – ability to research solutions and learn independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to mulit-task multiple initiatives and meet tight deadlines
