CSG is looking for a highly analytical thinker with an audience-first mindset for the role of Content Marketing Manager.  The Content Marketing Manager will manage a team of content creators and will require excellent interpersonal and communicative skills, as well as demonstrate sound leadership and decision-making ability.

The purpose of this job is to create, edit, and manage existing and new content, build on content strategy, drive lead-generation and meet corporate brand and marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the execution of objectives surrounding CSG s content strategy, including brand building, content marketing and supporting lead generation efforts.
  • Identify and track measurable targets for the creation, distribution and impact of CSG content that are directly tied to defined audience segments and business objectives.
  • Expand CSGs internal subject matter expert network, leveraging the expertise of CSG employees to create and publish compelling, multi-channel content.
  • Build both short and long-term editorial calendars and plans for extending the reach of CSG s brand voice to build awareness and improve perception with key stakeholders globally.
  • Leverage data, analytics and market research to develop themes and topics and to execute a plan to develop assets that position CSG s role as an industry leader.
  • Share best practices and insights to ensure we deliver on our vision of providing customers with the right message at the right time.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources on the delivery of integrated brand, product, solution and event campaigns.
  • Ensure that cross-channel integrated campaigns are produced, prioritized and implemented effectively
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure that customer engagement is optimized for both quality and value throughout the customer journey.
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, mobile, video and print.
  • Embody a content marketing mindset and the ability to marry business strategy with the CSG brand tone & voice.
  • Develop standards, systems and best practices (both technological and human) for content creation, distribution and maintenance, as well as re-purposing and reporting.
  • Manage internal and external resources and cross-functional teams as a key leader within the CSG marketing organization. Foster a culture of continuous content evolution and improvement. Challenge and inspire teams to achieve business results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital/Content Marketing, Communications, or Business, or the equivalent work experience
  • Marketing experience in a B2B corporate or agency environment.
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing and storytelling and is proactive in creating conversations and seeking innovative ways to connect with various audiences       
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into simple, intuitive communications
  • Proven track record of success in content marketing and experience with digital and social media management platforms, technology and reporting.
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.  Influences operational and tactical leadership within functional area to meet customer expectations and deliver on objectives.
  • Have a creative eye that can critique and create ideas for engaging campaigns.
