Position: Content Marketing Manager
The Role
JumpCloud is searching for a Content Marketing Manager that will drive customer acquisition through creation of innovative content campaigns. This role requires a combination of content creation, campaign strategy, and execution. We have a technical customer base and audience, but also are driving to create fun, helpful, and engaging content.

Responsibilities:
Campaign Management. Ability to fully own a campaign, channel, or marketing initiative. This role should be the owner and driver of both strategy and execution. This includes aligning with the broader marketing organization and the tactical elements of the campaign / channel / initiative itself.
Content Strategy. Develop the content strategy for specific content pieces and campaigns. This includes developing the purpose of the content in the broader marketing organization, what content needs to be produced, and how to most effectively leverage the content to drive results.
Content Production. Management of the content production process, often including executing on the production yourself. This includes content strategy, project planning, content creation, editing, approval, publication, and reporting. You should be familiar with various content types and be able to guide the creation of the right content format for a particular purpose, including ebooks, white papers, guides, infographics, blogs, and more.
Market Knowledge and Empathy. You must be able to understand our target market of IT Admins and DevOps professionals and write content that is highly engaging to them. Your success is dependent on making a connection with these individuals through your content.
Skills / Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- A proven track record of delivering results via content marketing
- Demonstrated ability to understand an audience or market
- Experience working cross functionally with subject matter experts to quickly become an expert in a complex domain
- Analytically minded and measurement driven
- Highly driven and self-motivated, comfortable with autonomy and driving initiatives
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Understanding and experience with SEO
- Works well with fast-paced decisions and changing deadlines
- Understanding of the buying journey and the varying types of content needs
- Experience in B2B, SaaS, and/or tech is preferred
