Content Marketing Associate

| Greater Denver Area

We are seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented writer and editor to write compelling and optimized web and promotional copy about email marketing. As part of the Content Marketing Team, you’ll collaborate with subject matter experts across the company to serve our customers by creating compelling, personalized content. You have ideally worked with email teams before and love to optimize and test new content strategies. You’re inspired by great email marketing and eager to contribute to a company and team that lives and breathes email best practices.

What You’ll Do

  • Live by and champion our cultural values of Happy, Hungry, Honest, and Humble
  • Write actionable, prescriptive short and long form (500-2,500 words) content around email marketing strategy and best practices
  • Optimize your copy for search and follow SEO best practices
  • Work closely with our demand generation team to help maximize reader visibility and track your writing through the sales funnel
  • Investigate email industry and marketing topics and convert them into compulsively readable copy
  • Utilize web analytics and SEO to maximize reader visibility
  • Tie your writing back to revenue, retention, and cross-sell efforts
  • Regularly contribute to copyediting needs across the company
  • Be an active contributor to our Revenue Marketing Team by helping to strategize about multiple facets of marketing, not just content

About You

  • 3+ years of experience in content creation and marketing
  • Previous experience working in email marketing and automation tools is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Incredible writer and editor
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Proven copy editing experience
  • Not afraid to ask questions and dive head first into new projects
  • You’ve written email campaigns as a regular part of your job in the past
  • Demonstrated strategic approach to content creation
  • Team player with a great attitude and a positive outlook on life (it’s not all about work)
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced environment
  • Independent worker, creative idea machine
  • Motivated to join a hungry team, eager to take our program to the highest level
  • Bachelor’s degree
