To this end, we create insightful content alongside technology solutions to add transparency to the marketplace, and now we need you to help bring these resources to more renters!

We are looking for a highly motivated, data-driven content marketer to help grow Apartment List’s content strategy.

Here’s what you’ll do as part of the team:

• Collaboratively build out Apartment List’s content and SEO strategy to drive new renters to the platform.
• Manage Apartment List’s content creation process, from keyword research, to content calendar management, to publishing new articles. 
• Manage a team of writers and editors to create best-in-class content for our readers. 
• Implement SEO tactics and strategies to increase visibility to Apartment List content. 
• Track the performance of our content and utilize insight to inform our content strategy. 

Here are the skills and experience you’ll need to be successful:

• 2+ years of experience in an SEO, Content or related role.
• Fundamental understanding of SEO, both on-page and off-page.
• 2+ years of experience writing or managing the writing of a wide variety of content for online audiences. You understand what content resonates with audiences, and how to write it in a way that ranks. 
• Experience with data analysis tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. 
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once with great attention to detail. 
• A passion for growing an audience and excitement for creating content that readers (and search engines!) will love. 
• Desire to work at a fast-paced and dynamic startup. On this team, you’ll be wearing multiple hats and tackling a variety of projects. 

• Nice to haves: Experience with SEO Tools (Ahrefs, SEMRush, Botify, etc) Contentful, Markdown, Airtable
