CMO - Bluprint
As a key member of Bluprint’s management team, this marketing leader will provide the strategic and tactical leadership to evolve Crafty’s marketing team into a world-class organization that effectively supports continued rapid growth and builds brand awareness and recognition on a national and eventually international level.
Key responsibilities:
Build, lead, and develop a high-functioning Marketing team to achieve continued, rapid revenue growth, reaching Bluprint’s goal of $100MM+ in annual revenue by 2021
Lead team of 45 that includes the Acquisition and Retention, Merchandising, Editorial, Business Development; PR; Brand and Community teams.
Primary interface with NBCU’s programming, advertising, and integration teams
Drive brand and marketing strategy, demand generation, and community
Manage leaders of our digital acquisition channels and our data science team to optimize performance and spend to drive continued rapid growth
Develop customer acquisition programs and constantly monitor the effectiveness of such activities.
Design and optimize a world class conversion funnel
Leverage the website as the principal branding and conversion tool
Work closely with internal and NBCU video production teams to design and execute promotional spots and have a keen understanding of leveraging video, both online and offline to convert new users
Manage agency relationships
Establish and develop robust new marketing channels with leaders of our Business Development team ~ Expand digital reach via new partnerships
Continue to engender deep customer loyalty as evidenced by retention
Develop short and long-term objectives, target markets, competitive positioning, marketing strategies, and supporting programs to meet Bluprint’s long-term growth objectives
Basic Qualifications
Sophisticated in acquisition funnel strategy, testing, scaling and management; successful track record of prioritizing resource allocation in an environment with many competing and attractive alternatives
Deep understanding of subscription business model
Leadership experience at nimble, high growth organizations: multiple experiences building and leading a high-performing marketing team; experience and acumen in working with the CEO and cross-functional teams (finance, product, production and engineering)
Strong brand and marketing strategy sensibility in multi-category/product online businesses: positioning, messaging, communications; prior experience managing external agencies

Must be able to travel within the US and internationally as needed
