About Deal Patrol
Deal Patrol is creating America’s first comprehensive database of military deals and discounts.
Founded by two veterans, Deal Patrol is a mobile application that allows people to search for local military discounts. As all military members can attest, there are countless merchants who offer military discounts. Unfortunately, to date, no company has created a database with all of these discounts and channeled them into an easy-to-use interface, until now.
Ideal Candidate
Being this is the first hirer for the team we are looking for a self starter that has aligned values with our mission and a history getting projects going from the beginning would be ideal. You should be able to think on your feet, create creative plans for gather deals, marketing the platform, and you are excited about the startup world. The right hirer would be a champion for the company from the get go and always be on the lookout for creative ways to grow the deal database and find new users for the mobile app(s).
Responsibilities
Develop a program/script for teams to use for onboarding deals from local companies
On board 1000’s of deals in the Colorado Springs area
Aide in research and planning around prospective cities and launching in new cities
Marketing plan for App Launch
Work with partner businesses to plan out app updates or launch
Communicate with Founders
Identify local, regional, and chain businesses that may offer deals or may be interested in offering a deal
Identify upcoming events or opportunities to spread the world about Deal Patrol in supported communities
Aide in conceptualizing and building strategy behind grassroots marketing campaigns
Monitor social media channels and handle user engagement outside of targeted growth strategy communication
About You
Experience in demand generation for a startup company, with proven ability to deliver consistently strong measurable results
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Strong experience with customer experience-based marketing
Experience in running a portfolio of quality lead generation programs, including: email and database marketing, content marketing, sponsorships, events, etc
Creative, high energy, innovative, proactive, and resourceful
Ability to take direction on new creative and marketing ideas
Out of the box thinker and communicates thinking clearly for initiatives
Uses new techniques to work the marketing effort outside of Google Analytics and Social Media
Experience building email drip campaigns based on user actions on site, social, and email
