Prologis is seeking a Global Marketing Leader to build and lead a new team in driving marketing programs for our new Prologis Essentials (B2B) business. Using our global scale of almost $100B of assets under management, we are entering an exciting phase of growth with a focus on delivering additional products and services to our customers. You will have a passion for delivering customer value for our business venture and an opportunity to elevate the Essentials Business to the next level. You will possess leadership skills and discernment, generate high-impact ideas, clearly prioritize workloads, lead multiple projects simultaneously and craft strategies to drive them to completion. What’s needed in order to do that:

  • Build product messaging that sets new products apart from others in the market to give them an outstanding selling point.
  • Communicate the vision and value of new products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process; Present products to external and internal audiences.
  • Plan and participate in the launch of new services and products working with or partner vendors which involve several different departments.
  • Acquire insights into customers’ usage of current products, customer segmentation, untapped opportunities and buyer personas, through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data.
  • Develop and lead the product pipeline and road-map aligning with product management and vendor partners.
  • Demonstrate market research data to establish product pricing and provide mentor-ship to sales teams on sales strategy and product positioning.

 

 

Required skills:

  • Collaborative skills: Engaging with cross cultural and cross functional teams globally. This will often include the sales and marketing department, the engineering department, product management, press and PR and senior executives.
  • Communication skills: Ability to speak and write authoritatively; present new products and write engaging copy, telling the ‘story’ of products, for various marketing channels, which may include crafting content such as case studies, videos, website copy and blog posts.
  • Research skills: Vital to gain insight into customer needs and experiences; Analyze data, surveys and customer interviews using the data to tell a product story.

 

 

Tell us if you’re ready.

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or marketing field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience building creative assets and marketing content.
  • Experience planning and executing multiple, complex marketing programs.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple Engineering and Marketing teams.
  • Validated ability as a product or technology advocate.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
