We are looking for a strategic, focused, and results-driven person to join the CA Product Marketing organization and become a member of CA’s Return on Investment (ROI) & Business Value Analytics Team. Here you will be paired with ROI consultants to help create new and modern approaches to business value storytelling. 

 

This highly visible role will enable you to collaborate with cross-functional teams responsible for a wide array of CA solutions.  You’ll help develop sales tools focused on calculating business value from the customer’s perspective.  These tools will be used across multiple sales channels and you’ll work directly with subject-matter-experts, end-users, Sales, and customers to validate their functionality and accuracy.

 

Further, you’ll help educate to increase internal Sales awareness on what’s available and how to apply the tools in the sales cycle.

 

Job Overview:

 

This entry-level position in Boulder (CO) is responsible for supporting CA’s Return on ROI & Business Value Analytics Program activities for a wide array of CA products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Assist with the following activities for one or more products:

  • ROI tool validation and enhancement to increase Sales’ ability to assist customers with quantifying projected business outcomes.
  • Facilitate the quantifiable impact value story messages.
  • Developing marketing assets for lead generation purposes.
  • Maintaining reports to track tool usage and to coordinate ROI Team collaboration.
  • Developing training materials and delivering training to various end user audiences.
  • Employ continuous learning; build domain expertise and keep abreast on new technology, processes, systems and tools.

 

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Basic understanding of business concepts, applying company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
  • Ability to read and understand business and some technical material.
  • Ability to effectively convey information to a wide variety of internal audiences and to customers.
  • Team player skills and willingness to give and receive feedback.
  • Initiative and leadership commensurate with the scope of responsibilities.
  • Strong desire to influence and educate through effective communication and presentation skills.

 

Additional role-specific traits you may bring:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a business analyst or IT/business consulting role -or- formal education in Digital Marketing and Management Information Systems/Computer Science.
  • BA/BS or global equivalent in a business or technology field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including a high degree of empathy; traits including: conscientious, organized, collaborative.
  • Highly creative self-starter with a strong track record of achievement.
  • Previous experience with open source solutions or SaaS based business intelligence applications.
  • MS Office (specifically MS Excel) experience, attention to detail, writing skills.
  • Eager to contribute beyond your role and help to build new components of this function from the ground up.
  • Ability to understand customer pain points, how to build recommendations/actions to solve those pain points, and how to measure the impact.
  • Excited about immersing yourself in a customer’s business and connecting the dots to how CA can truly impact the business.
  • Passionate about technology: a natural, credible evangelist who is experienced in (or highly interested in) translating that passion into business impact for customers.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% annually.
