Associate Director, Communications
The Director of Marketing Communications will oversee a team of managers and associates that make up Ibotta’s Paid & Promotions, Content & Copy, and Lifecycle marketing sub-teams. We’re looking for a data-driven, creative thinker who can simultaneously manage several complex projects with a variety of different goals and timelines. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of driving results while finding the balance of creativity and quantitative analysis to create and effectively measure new marketing initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead a team of over fifteen technical and creative marketers that own and execute all B2C touch points across Ibotta’s email, push, SMS, web, and in-app messaging channels.
- Oversee Ibotta’s multi-million dollar Advertising Products revenue line, including rate card, inventory, and campaign management. Ensure that we hit or exceed revenue goals through strategic programs, innovative product enhancements, and improved processes.
- Develop strategic marketing programs to increase campaign engagement, personalize the user experience, and improve funnel metrics. Test into new and incremental campaigns and iterate upon evergreen campaigns.
- Ensure consistent use of Ibotta’ voice and tone and creative branding across all user-facing touch points.
- Consistently monitor the health of Ibotta’s communication channels and look for anomalies in email deliverability, engagement metrics, and subscriber stats.
- Work closely with Product Marketing and within Product squads launch new products and educate users about feature enhancements.
- Research, prioritize, and test into new channels and tools.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8-10 years experience in a B2C marketing role, preferably in consumer internet / e-commerce / mobile
- Experience coaching and managing a team
- Deep understanding of email and marketing automation
- Intimate experience with Braze or similar CRM tool
- Strong advertising background or experience monetizing owned inventory
- Ability to manage multiple projects across multiple teams and timelines
- Energetic, self-starter, and a team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to set, engage and champion the objectives of the organization
