Caliper Foods, formerly Stillwater, (caliperfoods.life) is a consumer packaged goods company that offers safe and standardized hemp-derived soluble cannabinoids to both consumers and manufacturers alike. 

Caliper Foods encompasses two distinct business lines: (1) Caliper Commercial Ingredients, which provides soluble CBD ingredients at scale to food, beverage, supplement, and other CPG manufacturers; and (2) Caliper Consumer, which sells its own line of CBD-infused products nationwide. 

Caliper Foods was founded in 2015 on the belief that cannabinoids, especially non-psychoactive compounds like CBD, are a major new category in functional ingredients.

About the Job

We are looking for an Art Director to produce and oversee digital and print creative solutions to address our business and marketing needs. To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles, and layout techniques. You should also have experience executing marketing projects from conception to production, including websites, print materials, and product packaging. Ultimately, you will ensure the marketing team promotes and elevates our brands through delivering high quality pieces on time and on message.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintain and elevate overall visual brand identity across multiple platforms
• Create designs that bring brand systems and campaigns to life
• Flexibility to work on a variety of projects (including print collateral, illustrations, event graphics, websites, photography, video) depending on company needs
• Be comfortable with projects that may not be completely defined and use a scrappy, resourceful approach to bring definition and drive results when needed
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills: meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once
• Develop and explore a breadth of concepts within a set period of time; balance creativity and attention to detail with swift execution
• Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of agency and/or in-house experience creating and working with brand systems
• A portfolio that shows work across various mediums of design: visual design, illustration, branding, iconography, digital & print
• A keen eye for typography, layout and color, and exceptional attention to detail
• Mastery of design tools: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, etc
• Maintains knowledge of design trends and techniques
• Strong illustrative skills a plus
• Bonus: experience working at or closely with a CPG company

This is a full-time position based in Commerce City, CO.
