POSITION SUMMARY

The Affiliate Manager will be responsible for managing several digital affiliate networks, planning and contributing to the execution of product promotions.  As the Affiliate Manager you’ll be responsible for supporting/managing a portfolio of Affiliate Programs.  The Affiliate Manager will develop, grow and manage the company’s marketing affiliates, aggregators, and other marketing partners helping to meet aggressive growth goals. The Affiliate Manager will work closely with leaders across sales, operations, and marketing to support continued channel and organizational growth. They will work closely with our partners and internal team members to maximize sales funnel efficiency while delivering upon planned lead and sales results. This position requires a high level of collaboration and will be responsible for coordinating internal and external efforts to grow the affiliate marketing channel.

CORE JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage partnerships including relationship development and ongoing communication with aggregators, affiliates and marketing partners.
  2. Evaluate pricing and commission modification opportunities quantitatively and qualitatively to determine potential expected results and return.
  3. Grow the channel. Develop new partnerships with partners that will contribute to our growth, expand our reach to new audiences, and drive new business. Explore, assess, and execute new approaches with existing partners.
  4. Develop overall plans, and review campaign performance using internal and external reporting and analytics tools. Distill data into actionable insights which will help drive change and growth
  5. Manage the affiliate program budget and sales forecasting.
  6. Consistently innovate, explore, learn, test, execute and iterate. Develop and maintain a culture and discipline of testing, research, competitive analysis and data-driven decisions to optimize future plans.
  7. Stay up to date with the latest developments in the industry and closely monitor the competitive landscape. Evaluate new technologies, platforms, strategies, and tactics, bringing recommendations back to the team to ensure our continued evolution and growth.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • Minimum two years of Affiliate Management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop recommendations
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and basic HTML. Comfort level with and interested in Internet technologies such as data feeds and XML.
  • Effective project management skills, including demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take direction and work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented, diligent, conscientious, and have a positive attitude
  • Must be able to prioritize and stay well-organized
