SUMMARY
The Manager of Advertising Product Development is responsible for leading the development of word class marketing solutions on behalf of thousands of Spectrum Reach clients with a focus on Streaming media. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in defining strategy, product definition, business models, supply strategy, vendor / technology evaluation, cross-platform execution, and revenue growth. This exceptional leader will have hands on experience with programmatic media buying, specifically in the OTT/streaming space, and the ability to articulate deep knowledge of supporting execution platforms and sources of inventory across internal and external stakeholders to drive key initiatives forward. The role will report to the Director, Advertising Product Development and will operate in a highly matrixed environment with numerous key stakeholders
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Integrate workflows and establish best practices for algorithmic media activation, execution, optimization and reporting with Demand Side Platforms.
  • Drive inventory expansion in support of best in class Streaming TV product across key verticals by collaborating with internal and external partners at scale
  • Lead tech vendor and partner meetings on ongoing basis, interfacing as needed with external executive and middle management during meetings and presentations
  • Inform internal senior management on key opportunities, potential risks, and potential partnerships
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders on proper testing, integration, activation and continuity support
  • Forward thinker in translating sales needs into strategic and compelling business opportunities by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
  • Translate business strategy into a portfolio product roadmap, articulates trade-offs and business cases for new features through data-driven prioritization and business needs; set minimal viable product releases.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Creatively thinks about marketing outcomes, is customer focused and applies heightened levels of service across all stakeholders
  • Experience in media trading - acquiring, selling or overseeing digital supply / media is a must.
  • Ad-tech experience at a combination of: DSP, SSP, MVPD, ad network, publisher/media company, direct marketing agency, data company, strategy consulting or similar company within the digital media ecosystem with a focus on product management or product design experience
  • Deep knowledge of the programmatic advertising eco-system
  • Understanding of the MVPD media sales channels (local, regional and national), cable programmers, content providers, and supporting tools
  • Applicable experience with direct marketing techniques, digital advertising methodologies, list matching, outcome-based marketing as well as synthesis of campaign performance
  • Experience with key categories such as automotive, health, retail and political
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and responsibilities concurrently; consistently set, meet and exceed deadlines
  • Ability to form strong relationships with internal teams, vendors and clients
  • Proven history of managing multiple product efforts and significant experience leading product roadmaps, prioritizing and identifying opportunities for backlog, collaborating with development teams for ongoing enhancements
  • Ability to negotiate complex contracts to support emerging business models
  • Capacity to work independently and own responsibilities for projects immediately
  • Professional, outgoing (partners well with all), confident with sound presentation skills

The base pay for this position generally is between
$88,200.00 and $156,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
