Zoom is looking for a key team member in our SOX Systems Compliance and Legal Systems Analyst position that will support change management and compliance in our internal systems. This position plays a crucial role in engaging and coordinating with internal groups on identifying potential compliance issues and driving their resolutions. Successful candidates for this role will be able to prove they are a trusted advisor to the business on all things compliance, communicate the importance of compliance activities effectively to multiple audiences, and have a strong desire to improve current processes to make the company more scalable as Zoom continues to grow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with audits of the company’s IT frameworks with a key focus on controls
Perform business analysis duties for Legal Systems projects
Be the point of expertise for public sector compliance as well as the champion for best practice implementation with business users
Reduce risk by identifying, organizing, and resolving risk findings clearly to business stakeholders
Write well designed documentation of risk findings in order to train other users of best practices
Work with process and control owners to remediate audit issues
Plan, manage, and execute IT and security related projects across the enterprise
Attend compliance project related meetings and be the technical point of contact
Drive change management process, defining measurable objectives and goals for upcoming quarters
Administrate compliance applications that are Enterprise grade
Host presentations and trainings to customers or professional peers
Seek out opportunities to improve processes, especially around automation of compliance control verification
Work with the business to understand access requirements and design scalable roles to improve the security posture of the company
Develop training materials for both technical and non-technical audiences to help facilitate transition into enterprise systems and processes
Conduct educational sessions on policies and procedures with all levels of staff from management to customer support
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, or equivalent
Strong exposure to Legal and/or Compliance systems preferred
4+ years' experience in systems compliance or legal systems implementation
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Familiarity with issue tracking tools (JIRA preferred)
Self-starter, self-motivated, able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision
