Senior Contracts Manager
The Opportunity
We are in search of a Senior Contracts Manager to join their dynamic legal team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling a broad range of responsibilities including negotiating and drafting a variety of commercial agreements. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for negotiating, structuring, drafting and/or managing SaaS terms of use, software license, consulting services, non-disclosure, and customer paper agreements for direct use or re-seller channel.
- Provide experienced judgment in analyzing and negotiating complex concepts in out-bound technology agreements: data privacy; intellectual property ownership; limitations of liability; and indemnifications.
- Review contractual documents to ensure compliance to company policy and alignment with risk tolerance thresholds.
- Investigate high risk areas and prepare course of action or make recommendations to minimize exposure to risk.
- Contribute to formulation of playbook positions and department policies, and participate in training of team and internal clients.
- Provide interpretation of contract terms and advise applicable parties of contractual rights and obligations.
- Work closely with teams of people across the company and externally with customers and partners.
- Assist with selection and implementation of a contract management system.
Required Skills / Experience:
- 5 - 10 years relative contracts management experience.
- SaaS experience required.
- Experience working with Sales and Business units.
- Ability to navigate complicated and nuanced issues.
- Superior organizational and communication skills and extraordinary attention to detail.
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well in fast-paced team environment.
