Job Description:
Paralegal
Responsibilities:
Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership.

  • Must have knowledge of the legal and administrative requirements of contract agreements and other fundamental legal principles and concepts
  • Must have knowledge of legal publications and periodicals and procedures for extracting information
  • Ability to establish and maintain department records and files
  • Highly motivated, proactive starter with excellent time management skills
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness
  • Drafting form contracts and researches contract language, as needed
  • Providing administrative support
  • Administering contracts to ensure company compliance with contract requirements
  • Maintaining essential reports, records and files
  • Handling confidential information in a professional manner
  • Performing other duties as assigned


Qualifications:
A minimum of 5+ years of experience
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Ability to demonstrate professional, appropriate responses in confidential situations
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Organizational skills that result in consistent volume and quality of output
Expert in Legal Software such as Lexis Nexis or TRIM, if required
Solid project management skills
Ability to operate independently with limited attorney supervision
Ability to effectively work with all levels of company management, internal clients and outside counsel
Ability to provide significant coaching, guidance and training to less experienced paralegals and others
Ability to accept coaching and make changes accordingly
High School Diploma/GED

  • Proven Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel; preference for sans serif fonts
  • Paralegal Certification is a plus


Minimum Qualifications:
At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. High School Diploma or GED. Pre-employment background screen.
