We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Legal and Contracts Administrator to join Guild Education’s growing team in downtown Denver. Your main duties will be to design, manage, and support all forms of legal processes, prepare and negotiate contracts, perform research, and prepare and manage legal/compliance policies and documents. A successful person in this role will be highly organized, process-oriented, and can demonstrate a strong attention to detail along with the ability to recognize, analyze, and communicate potential risks for our company. Our ideal candidate has previous experience preparing, negotiating, and administering complex contracts, supporting contract management tools, as well as with supporting various aspects of an in-house legal function, and is knowledgeable about operational processes and contract law generally.

As Legal and Contracts Administrator, you will:

  • Assist in managing the legal operations and processes supporting procurement and vendor management
  • Support and drive the development and automation of legal processes and tools
  • Review, draft, and negotiate contract terms (NDAs, all forms of vendor agreements, and other legal contracts) with internal and external business stakeholders
  • Clearly communicate company policies and the legal and practical implications of contract terms to internal stakeholders
  • Analyze potential legal and business risks involved with specific contract terms
  • Assist in preparation, management and administration of legal/compliance policies, documents, and processes
  • Ongoing legal department administrative support
  • Perform general legal and informational research

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

  • Experience with contract law and negotiations, with a good understanding of related accounting and finance principles 
  • Have a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of corporate contract and legal administration experience.
  • Possesses superior attention to detail in order to spot errors and inconsistencies in contracts
  • Well-versed in the use and administration of technology to automate legal processes
  • Process-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Able to work productively, both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask, independently manage priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent analytical thinking skills and problem solving abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $75,000-$93,750 as well as company stock options.
