Position Summary
 
The Professional Services Group of SRS Acquiom is currently recruiting a Director of Contract Administration to lead our Contract Administration team. The Director of Contract Administration is responsible for supervising the teams that review and analyze SRS Acquiom’s contractual obligations under the definitive agreements, in particular as it applies to the distribution of transaction consideration and funds, transfers of interest in post-acquisition assets, tax compliance, and general contractual questions. The ideal candidate is an experienced operational manager, quickly comprehends key provisions of complex agreements, spots issues to prevent problems and resolves issues that are escalated to them, and manages multiple projects simultaneously.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Head of the SRSA contract administration and compliance teams
  • Support the SRSA business through management of the process for the distribution of escrow funds, review of related tax matters and transfers of escrow interests, and oversight of general contract compliance matters. Other management duties as required
  • Ensure SRSA compliance with its contractual obligations under M&A transaction agreements
  • Liaison between the contract administration and compliance team and other SRSA departments
  • Report to Managing Director, Professional Services Group 
  • Supervise all releases of escrow funds to shareholders, processing of transfers of escrow interests and all other compliance inquiries
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders regarding contract administration and compliance matters
  • Escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and improve contract administration and compliance procedures

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record or equivalent experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years managerial experience
  • Experience with operational and contract compliance functions in a financial institution
  • Strong people management and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and client-facing demeanor
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize among multiple urgent tasks 
  • Some prior exposure to analysis and interpretation of contracts
