Contract Analyst
Description
Envysion, a leading provider of video-based SaaS technology solutions for retailers, including fast casual restaurants, convenience stores and wireless dealers, is seeking a Contract Analyst to add our growing PMO group. The Contract Analyst will ensure efficient contracting, execution, and remuneration with our contracted installation partners.
The Contract Analyst will provide critical oversight of contractual parameters and support Envysion’s relationship with their installation partners. Administer the business transactions between Envysion and these partners. Monitor, analyze, and strategically optimize contract cost. Oversee contractual invoicing, schedules, and quality details. Measure actual versus planned performance for single site deployments and multi-site projects. Provide feedback to installation partners and internal stakeholders for cultivation of efficiencies and continual process improvement.
Essential Job Functions
- Proactively review and evaluate the contractual, financial, and business obligations of contractual agreements with installation partners
- Onboard new installation partners
- Collaborate with internal resources to refine contract parameters and execution
- Maintain contracts file and communicate terms to internal stakeholders in a proactive, timely, and sustained fashion
- Communicate financial obligations, service start dates, and proper internal coding to Purchasing and Accounts Payable teams
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure timely remuneration of partner invoices
- Provide high level analytical review of invoices and ensure services are billing properly
- Request credits for non-compliant charges based on SLAs
- Issue termination letters to suppliers as services are cancelled or turned down
- Negotiate terms and/or pricing with installation partners
- Work with insurance team to prepare certificates of insurance as needed
- Work with municipalities to submit and secure approval of installation permits as need
- Develop process improvements and strategies to further automate and streamline the contracts area as the organization grows
- Additional duties as assigned in support of the PMO
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated business relationship management skill/experience
- Exceptional time management
- Self-starter and independent, proactive contributor
- Close reader with outstanding analytical reasoning skills
- Refined and demonstrable technical writing skills
- Familiarity with general back office business functions including financial and contractual matters
- Standard cost accounting knowledge a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication (writing sample required at time of interview)
- Proven collaboration skills with consequent result
- Ability to maintain effectiveness and handle stress associated with working in a dynamic and growing SAAS business
Education/ Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters’ Degree preferred, in a business or legal related field
- 2-4 years of experience in a commercial role, interfacing with contracted third parties, commensurate with education
- Experience managing hardware installations, installation contracts, or installation vendor relationships a plus
- Knowledge of legal regulations and permitting for hardware installations a plus
- SaaS service delivery experience preferred
