OVERVIEW

This is an entry-level sales role designed for ambitious, coachable individuals looking to launch their careers in SaaS sales. You’ll be responsible for supporting the sales process, learning how to develop and maintain customer relationships, and working closely with experienced sales professionals to drive revenue growth.

As a Jr. Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in introducing potential customers to the power of TextUs, learning and growing within a high-energy sales team, and helping businesses improve their communication strategies.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Sales Process & Prospecting
    • Engage with potential customers, supporting the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
    • Conduct discovery calls and product demos to introduce potential customers to TextUs.
    • Learn and apply best practices in sales outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
    • Track and manage pipeline activities in Salesforce to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Product & Customer Success
    • Gain a deep understanding of the TextUs platform and communicate its value to potential customers.
    • Assist in onboarding new customers, ensuring a smooth transition to the Customer Success team.
    • Collect customer feedback and share insights with the Product team to improve the user experience.
  • Deal Strategy & Competitive Knowledge
    • Work closely with experienced Account Executives and the VP, Sales  to refine sales strategies.
    • Participate in ongoing training sessions to understand B2B SaaS sales, MEDDICC methodology and process, and continually seek to develop expertise in these areas.
    • Support marketing efforts by following up on inbound leads and assisting in outbound campaigns.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 0-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (internships, part-time roles, or relevant coursework count!).
  • Passionate about sales and eager to learn in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills—comfortable speaking with potential customers.
  • Highly coachable with a growth mindset and a strong desire to build a career in sales.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with (or willingness to learn) Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Google Apps.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Internship or project experience in sales, customer service, or business development.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) or outreach platforms (Outreach.io, ZoomInfo).
  • Exposure to the SaaS industry, B2B sales, or business communication tools.

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Compensation Range: 
    • Base: $50,000 - $60,000
    • OTE: $100,000 - $120,000 (base + commission)
  • Location: Remote (US) with Headquarters in Denver, CO
  • # of hires for this role:
  • Target Start Date: 2 weeks from offer date
  • Reporting to: CEO, then VP of Sales once hired
