What You'll Do: 

The Janitorial Lead plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the resort’s public areas including all lobbies, hallways, lounges, restrooms, and fitness and aquatic centers while supporting and guiding janitorial staff.  The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, takes pride in high standards, and delivers professional, responsive service to both guests and team members. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Qualified bilingual Spanish applicants may be eligible for a pay differential. Transitional housing may be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Schedule may require weekends and holidays.

Starts at $21.00 - $24.00 per DOE

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Clean and maintain public areas including but not limited to lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, fitness and aquatic areas, etc.
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture; clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces; empty trash and ensure propter waste disposal; and lean and sanitize restrooms to maintain high hygiene standards.
  • Assist in coordinating daily assignments for janitorial staff.
  • Train and support new or existing team members as needed.
  • Replenish and monitor supplies such as paper products, towels, and amenities and communicate restocking needs to management.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk teams to resolve issues quickly. 
  • Provide support to ensure a positive and welcoming guest environment.
  • Respond to guest needs or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Maintain a strong sense of urgency while upholding quality in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Uphold company service standards through professional conduct and attention to detail.

What You'll Bring 

  • Highschool diploma or GED -preferred
  • 1+ year janitorial or housekeeping experience - preferred
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English - required 
  • Bilingual Spanish – preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required during shifts - required
