Eligibility
The Zayo internship program is open to graduating seniors and current students. All internships are paid, full-time work experiences. All internships are from June 3* - August 9, 2019 (*start date flexible to academic obligations).
Position Description
The Tranzact Application Developer Intern will support the Tranzact application and application architecture by identifying, developing and testing features and technologies to improve user experience and efficiency.
Build new customer features to supporting the development pipeline
Write test code
Develop and implement new coding patterns for the application
Refactor legacy code to simplify maintenance
Conduct industry and company research
Qualifications
Studying/degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering
Developing experience is a major plus.
Some combination of knowledge of NodeJS, AngularJS, ExpressJS, Postgres, Heroku, Apex, Java, HTML, Jade, CSS, Less, Javascript, or SQL is desirable
Process oriented, problem solver, thought leader
Ability to communicate well with the IT team and business stakeholders (excellent internal communication skills)
Understanding of delegation
