Internship Overview:

We’re looking for an intern to help us build the next generation of the flagship Alteryx product, Alteryx Designer. This tool serves a wide range of users from Data Scientists, deploying and managing predictive models and real-time decision APIs, to novice Excel users who want to become far more productive using simpler tools. We are looking for an intern who is passionate about learning web technologies and is eager to jump in and try to tackle some bugs. We will provide more guidance and training on the process’ involved then with a full-time engineer. You’ll also be learning how Scrum works in a software team. See more things you’ll be exposed to below.

 

The stack is built on Node, React, Material UI, Docker, SQL and much more, while our customers are data scientists and business analysts using Alteryx Designer, R and Python.

 

Other things you’ll be exposed to:

  • Building and consuming APIs
  • Working with UI/UX teams
  • Agile / Scrum team ceremonies
  • Working actively with product to help create our product strategy and vision
  • Rapid prototyping
  • Leveraging an internal component library and design system
  • Unit and integration testing
  • Code reviews of front-end stacks
  • Working with product team to define new features
