Internship Experience
Alteryx's Internship Program is a place where students from varied backgrounds, identities, and experiences come together to lay the groundwork for their futures. Interns have the opportunity to contribute to real-life projects, build life-long connections through social events, and give back to our communities by participating in volunteer activities. Our Summer 2022 Internship Program will be a hybrid working experience that allows students to live and work in a remote environment while also offering opportunities to come together in person.

What You'll Do:
As a Social Media Intern on the Corporate Communications team, you will:

• Learn how to develop and execute against an integrated social media strategy that is rooted in cross-team environment
• Help manage social media editorial calendars for various platforms, working with cross-functional teams in Employer Brand, Corporate Social Responsibility, Product Marketing, Integrated Campaigns, Partner, and more
• Gain knowledge on how to translate corporate brand voice and messaging into compelling social media content
• Partner with public relations team on press releases and product launches, developing social media strategy and content that fits into an integrated communications strategy
• Assist in further developing our Instagram strategy

• Report on social media performance and make recommendations on how we can improve

Required Skills:

• Students currently enrolled in a degree program in pursuit of Marketing/Communications, or related field preferred
• Ability to work for 12 consecutive weeks during the Summer 2022
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and should not require visa sponsorship now or in the future

• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Strong writing skills
• Logical and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

Valued Skills

• Students within 1 year of graduation preferred (e.g., graduating between December 2022 through June 2023)
• Experience or familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social or Buffer
• Interest in developing creative assets using platforms like Canva
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and to work effectively in dynamic and fluid situations

• Previous social media/communications/marketing experience or coursework

Compensation:
Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary for this role is $28/hour. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
