The Role
This 12-week internship will focus on the completion of two main projects. The first is a full life-cycle and environmental impact analysis for PopSockets grips. The second will be the design and implementation of a standardized company-wide training on social compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide a full, analytical view into the environmental risks for PopSockets grips which will form the basis for future projects on environmental sustainability of grips.
- Ensure that all staff are trained on our social compliance program and meet our training requirements for our Fair Labor Association affiliation. Project will include pre- and post-training data collection to measure training effectiveness.
- Assist in delivery and metrics tracking of ongoing new hire training on responsible sourcing
- Provide "second pair of eyes" to CSR-related policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in CSR-related committees at PopSockets HQ (Sustainability Committee, HSE Committee, Purchasing Practices Committee), and other CSR-related tasks as needed.
