Challenges You Will Solve
Red Canary’s Second Year Trust team internship program is created to provide incoming Seniors with an in-depth exposure to working on one of Red Canary’s security teams. You will be a junior member of one of our security teams, performing many of the team’s business as usual (BAU) tasks, and running pre-determined projects as the primary owner.
During this 12 week internship you will work as a member of one of the following teams:
- Product Security: This team is focused on ensuring that the services we offer are designed, engineered and operated securely.
- Corporate Security: This team is responsible for ensuring that the internal Red Canary corporate is secure.
- Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC): This team ensures we know the risks to our company, we are applying our resources appropriately to manage those risks, our controls are working effectively, and we have a program we can clearly communicate.
Throughout the internship you will be provided with feedback on your progress. At the end of the 12 weeks you will present the results of your internship projects to the Trust leadership team.
Interns who successfully complete the Second Year program may be offered a full-time position on the Red Canary Trust team.
What You'll Do
- Work on the team as a junior member, performing many business as usual activities
- Assist team members with their project work
- Complete internship projects as primary owner
- Present the findings of your internship project to the Trust leadership team
- Other tasks as assigned
What You'll Bring
- Educational experience; working towards a four year degree
- A passion for cybersecurity
- Active involvement (work, school, or community) in Product Security, Corporate Security, or GRC
- Excellent communication skills
This is a paid internship at rate of $25/hr.
