Modivcare is looking for an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization. In this position, you will support the team with special projects.
The RCM Intern will be responsible for 1) gathering preauthorization documentation for VRI clients, 2) verifying eligibility periods, approved procedures, pricing and agency specific billing requirements and 3) inputting authorizations in to VRI's operations system. A successful Authorization Specialist Intern is proactive, detail oriented and able to maintain a quick, steady pace while working.

Role Responsibilities
- Access agency web portals online to collect authorizations
- Save copies of correspondence with case managers in the document management system, Intact
- Input authorization information in Rivet
- Save copies of new authorizations to Intact
- Read and complete "tickets" in the RCM Here to Help (H2H) help desk queue
- Communicate with other VRI employees and teams by email, phone, and internal system notes and messages
- Comply with requirements to protect client data, use client data only for the purpose of managing the client's account with VRI and associated claims
- Comply with VRI and RCM department policies, procedures, job aids, reference materials, memos, notes, videos and other trainings provided
- Meet individual, team and department goals for productivity and quality
