Functional Area
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Reps & Certs Intern. The Representations and Certifications (Reps&Certs) Team is on the front line of contract compliance and liaison between Arrow’s internal resources (field sales, engineering, finance, facilities, legal, and other corporate departments), suppliers, vendors and/or customers. The Reps & Certs Intern will assist in the day-to-day support of Reps&Certs administration, management support, customer service activities, and dabble in corporate social responsibility survey support. The Intern is expected to work collaboratively with other interns, and with the Legal, Compliance and Contracts team. Intern is expected to perform with integrity and a high degree of professionalism. The Intern will have opportunities to interact and liaise between Arrow’s internal resources (field sales, engineering, finance, facilities, legal, and other corporate departments), suppliers, vendors and/or customers.
Requirements & Skills
- Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer (May or June through Mid-August)
- Strong communication (oral/written) to act as a liaison between team, sales, legal, and external customers
- Ability to prioritize based on opportunities and effectively multitask
- Customer Service and detail-oriented mind set
- Effective time management abilities
- Other duties as assigned
Job Complexity
- Support team on contract entry management including logging records, data accuracy
- Support team on contract records, registrations, files, database as requested
- Support management of representations/certifications/survey requests with support from supervisor or higher-level colleagues as requested
Experience / Education
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Contracts, Legal, Business Administration or equivalent
- 3.0 GPA or Higher
- Proficient with MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe)
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
