Position Overview:

Our summer internship program for 2021 will be virtual as the health and safety of our teams is our #1 priority! Don't worry. Even though this experience may look different because we won't be in person, it won't stop us from having fun and making the world more data-driven.

 As a Product Management Intern in our Innovation Labs team you will:

• Help translate Alteryx’s strategic vision into data science-focused product initiatives

• Work with sellers and customers to capture feedback and perform market analysis

• Create and maintain a product roadmap for a high-value product initiative

• Define product requirements and collaborate with designers and developers to design, develop, and test new products and features

• Work cross-functionally to enable Alteryx’s go-to-market teams as they deliver new functionality to customers

• Analyze current customer experiences to identify pain points and create plan to mitigate areas of friction

Required Skills:  

• Students currently enrolled in a degree program in pursuit of MBA or other relevant program

• Ability to work for 12 consecutive weeks during the Summer 2021

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and should not require visa sponsorship now or in the future

• Skilled at data research and analysis

• Ability to navigate ambiguity, think strategically, and recommend solutions using data

• Demonstrated success building relationships and collaborating cross-functionally with people at varied levels in an organization

• Natural curiosity and a growth mindset

• Written and verbal communication skills

Valued Skills:  

• Students within 1 year of graduation preferred (e.g., graduating between December 2021 through June 2022) 

• Experience and understanding of data science and machine learning concepts

• Prior product and/or entrepreneurial experiences in customer facing environment

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Broomfield, CO is $43.11 - $45.12 per hour. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
