Operations Intern - Peaksware
We recently designed and built out a unique, activity based work environment for our employees that fosters employee engagement and supports productivity and collaboration. We offer various amenities in our world class office space and are looking for an Operations Intern who will take pride in helping to manage the office space, while creating a user experience and environment where Peaksware employees can thrive and do their best work.
As the Peaksware Operations Intern, you are a high energy, resourceful individual that takes pride in supporting employees working in a high growth/fast paced environment. You will find yourself actively working throughout the entire office environment and working in close collaboration with Functional Leaders, HR and IT teams, and report to the Chief Operations Officer.
This is a full time, temporary position based out of our Louisville, CO office. This role will be required to be onsite Monday through Friday, 9am through 5pm, and the expected conclusion of the internship opportunity will be September 2021.
Core Functions
- Provide concierge level services to employees when they are working in the office, such as wayfinding, activity based working assistance, scheduling etc.
- Proactively problem solve daily challenges encountered by employees as they use the facilities.
- Juggle tasks and assist with different daily employees schedules and requests.
- Assist employees with scheduling meetings including booking conference rooms, organizing the cafe amenities, and utilizing our collaboration areas.
- Provide support as needed for project-based work and events.
- Assist in event planning as needed.
- Ensure the common areas and conference rooms are clean and presentable.
- Assist in operationalizing our reception area and hospitality suite (our reception area is equipped with a self-serve kiosk that allows guests to electronically “check-in” and a professionally designed mail-room).
- Ensure the cafe, patio, and satellite kitchen are clean and presentable.
- Stock the cafe and satellite kitchen supplies and snacks.
- Ensure coffee service is initiated each morning.
- Liaise with IT on technical issues as appropriate.

Desired Qualifications
- Proficient with the suite of Google applications.
- Previous front desk experience - serving as the main point of contact for all guests and deliveries.
- Experience with event planning and office management.
- An affinity for creating the best user experience for our employees and guests.

Benefits
Peaksware is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly range for this internship is $15.00 - $18.00. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment that is well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned with adequate ventilation and a noise level that is usually moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
