Responsibilities
The Network Support Intern will be responsible for providing Network hardware and software support for our local and remote users. The intern will actively assist with major Network related projects (rollout of a new functionality, hardware/software upgrades, integrations, etc.) This candidate will be a member of a support team that provides high quality Network Support across Arrow facilities throughout North America.
Specifications:
- Provide second-level IT technical support to onsite and remote end-users by resolving basic to moderately complex networking issues.
- Responsible for the troubleshooting of network issues (LAN and Wifi).
- Participate in network relocation activities —includes disconnect of network services at original location.
- Track, record and respond to moderately complex requests for IT technical support. Technical support will include network connectivity whether it be LAN or Wifi.
Required Experience:
- Has developed basic computer hardware and software user skills
- Completes work under general supervision
- Identifies key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data
- Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills
Requirements & Skills
- Currently a sophomore or junior, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer (May or June through Mid-August; Available start dates: May 21, May 29, June 4, June 11. Earliest end date is August 17)
- 3.0 GPA or Higher
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize based on opportunities and effectively multitask
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Detail oriented mindset

This is a paid internship.
