Within any of our Denver office, we are looking for a Marketing Intern to join #TeamGreen.

The Marketing Intern will assist in executing our demand generation efforts to create new prospects. This person will be responsible for a variety of tasks that allow the successful completion of planned marketing programs. This includes digital marketing, social media, email marketing, content marketing, field marketing and more. In this role, you will learn about all aspects of marketing execution in a demand generation team.

Role Objectives

  • Advertising and Campaigns:
  • Aid in the deployment of digital ads, content promotion campaigns, webinars, email nurturing campaigns and other demand generation activities.
  • Proofread copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes.
  • Events:
  • Complete tasks associated with the organization of promotional events, tradeshows, and conferences while meeting deadlines.
  • Coordinate planning and logistics with vendors, exhibitors and stakeholders before, during and after the event.
  • Work with marketing team to track event budgets, manage resources and ensure budget adherence.
  • Social:
  • Build and manage Matillion’s brand through social media presence across Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, YouTube, and other channels.
  • Curate a social media plan to educate targeted buyers on industry best practices and inform them of Matillion’s programs, products, and news.
  • Communication & Reporting:
  • Maintain and update the company-wide Marketing calendar to keep Matillion team members aware of our efforts.
  • Clearly report on program progress and social media KPIs.
  • Other:
  • Support the marketing team on projects and tasks as needed.

Functional or Technical Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Essential
  • Currently a University/College student, either Junior or Senior, working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Communications or a related field.
  • Proven ability to think AND do. 
  • Must be detail oriented, team player and technologically savvy.
  • This person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding but rewarding environment.
  • Strong team players with good communication skills and a roll up the sleeves, can-do attitude will thrive.
  • A successful candidate will be extremely organized and be able to manage multiple events and tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office/ G Suite.
