The Marketing Intern is a paid, part-time opportunity. The Marketing Intern will assist with the management, coordination, and results of IntelePeer’s corporate, product, and partner marketing programs.

REPORTS TO:  Manager, Corporate Marketing

Position responsibilities 

  • Assist with the creation of corporate and product marketing materials such as blog posts, datasheets, press releases, case studies, presentations, and more
  • Assist with integrated campaigns including social media, email creation and scheduling, and managing reports
  • Assist with Public & Analyst Relations activities, including media research, outreach, and target analyst research
  • Research industry trends and competitive products
  • Help maintain, create, and optimize website content
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

  • Undergraduate student working towards Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications field preferred
  • OR recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree

Expertise & experience

  • Academic or professional experience in marketing, advertising, social media, or public relations
  • Program management experience
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Adobe Design Suite experience a plus

  • Team player
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, able to multitask and work under strict and changing deadlines
  • Prioritizes and drives short term, long term, and immediate needs
  • Proficient with MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Effectively interacts with a wide range of personality types and working styles
  • Works well independently with minimal supervision
