Our mission is to create robotic tools to impact change in the physical world. We believe the building block for this is spatial AI - the ability for a system to see, understand and learn about the physical world in order to act.
We are looking for great minds to be part of a team using Spatial AI to build one of the world’s most advanced autonomous systems. Our vision-based autonomous vehicles are supporting factories and warehouses across the country and are continually adapting to their highly dynamic environments.
We are building systems that operate autonomously and continuously long-term: on the order of months and years. This requires solving challenges unique to long-term autonomy. You will get to work on these groundbreaking features and technologies with an experienced team of roboticists who have worked on autonomous systems at places like Google, TRI, and Amazon.
In this internship you will:
- Design, implement, and train deep-learning algorithms used for recognition and 3D pose estimation of objects.
- Deploy your algorithms and models on long-term autonomous self-driving vehicles adding value to customers around the globe.
- Participate in publishing research in academic conferences.
As a minimum you should be:
- Pursuing a PhD in Computer Science or a related field, with focus on Machine Learning or Computer Vision.
- Familiar with deep learning techniques and frameworks.
- Experienced in Python or C++.
