THE OPPORTUNITY
We count on our IT team to work in close alignment with all internal business units to provide excellent IT support and solutions to our global user community. Our IT Intern will have 1 year of experience working with people and some familiarity of software development concepts and practices, as well as familiarity of working with macs and PCs. In this role, you will learn and shadow our systems integrations team and helpdesk employees to troubleshoot basic issues, document and comment coding integrations, help with conf room setups, printers, etc. You will work with a helpdesk system to document troubleshooting steps, track and close tickets. Your project will be to assist with the business systems development team and the helpdesk to rollout new IT initiatives. You will learn how to troubleshoot common PC issues and learn what it takes to work in an Enterprise IT environment.

THE SKILL SET
● 1+ years experience in working with people and a familiarity of software development languages such as Python, Macs and PCs
● Passion for relationship building and desire to learn about system integrations, and the troubleshooting steps with Macs and PCs
● Comfortable working cross-functionally within an organization and completing administrative tasks
● Efficient with time management, various office software, and collaboration technologies such as Google
● Working towards a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred. 
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU'LL
● Develop a working relationship with the assigned Xactly IT staff. 
● Work with the Business Systems Developer to learn the integrations that are written, assist in documenting / commenting out the code, and the basics of Python development language.
● Work with the IT helpdesk to learn the systems we use and how to create, update and close tickets.
● Complete administrative tasks in support of Xactly's Asset Management and employment management system.
● Basic computer troubleshooting
● Conference Room setup and management 
BY THE END OF THE INTERNSHIP, YOU'LL
● Learn basic business systems development skills.
● Learn light project management.
● Business communication and submitting proposals
● Learn how to deploy a new Mac and PC
● Learn how to do asset management
● Gain basic networking knowledge
● Gain basic server administration
● Be exposed to developed integrations between systems, how they work and how they are monitored.
