IT Intern

Do you have a knack and passion for problem solving? Maybe you are a person who thrives on collaboration and working on a team. Well take your skills to the next level and help Return Path's IT make this place awesome, and have a ton of fun doing it! As an IT Intern you'll work closely with all aspects of our business to ensure employees solve their technology related problems.
Requirements

  • Experience with any of the following - Networking basics, Windows scripting, general troubleshooting and Mac/PC/Linux specific troubleshooting.
  • Any relevant work or project experience is a plus.
  • Interest or background in solving technical problems.
  • Work as part of a small cross functional team of IT experts.
  • Be a local candidate or be willing to spend the summer in the Boulder/Broomfield area.

Program Overview

Return Path is looking for undergrad, graduate, and PhD students who are passionate and want to make a positive impact on the email universe.
The Email Genius Academy is a 12-week paid summer internship program. Project specifics are determined jointly with selected students to ensure that work is valuable both to the student and RP. These can range from bite-sized feature development projects to large operational undertakings, such as building the systems that enable us to deliver fast, scalable and reliable services to clients.
We arm our interns with the best technology available-you choose the tools you need to be successful.When it comes to roles, we value specialists and jack-of-all-trades alike.
There is flexibility to switch roles and wear different hats. If there's something you want to work on, speak up and we promise you'll be heard.

  • Our internship program is designed to be a hands-on, career-related experience that supplements classroom experience to enhance the student's education
  • Interns will have responsibilities that mirror the professional activities of their colleagues rather than performing only clerical tasks
  • Managers will onboard, train and mentor interns through the summer
  • Engineering interns will be assigned to different teams (pairing them up and putting them on different projects)
  • Lunch & learns where you can learn about other areas of RP
  • Fun outings with team members… Duh! It's summer!

We host a lot of various social activities to appeal to all kinds of interests. We've had a chili cook-off, shuffleboard tournament, waffle Wednesdays, happy hours, corn hole tournament, sports jersey days, bunco game nights, volunteer days... if someone thinks of it, we try to do it!
