The Software Engineer (Test Team) at DigitalGlobe is responsible for many elements of the production systems at DigitalGlobe. This is an opportunity to work with Test, Development System Engineers, Program Managers, and Production Types to support and maintain an integrated, complex system of Proprietary software and commercial off-the-shelf tools. This is both a challenging and rewarding position. Experience with developing in the Java Language, as well as scripting in other languages is required. Must have experience with in both Unix and Windows environments.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tools and Frameworks to support the Testing Deliverables
• Maintenance and Enhancements of existing custom applications
• Supporting Test  and Development Teams in their software needs
• Interact Directly with other Dev and Test Team (Scrum Teams) to ensure applications and services are meeting the needs of the organization

Basic Qualifications

• Enrolled and working in a 4 year program for Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Related Field.
• US Citizenship
• Must be local to Denver or within a 100 mile radius.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of modern high level programming language.  (Java, Ruby, Visual Basic, etc…)
• Proficient knowledge of modern high level testing language, or willingness to learn.  (Cucumber, Gherkin, QTP, etc…)
• Some knowledge of “Jenkins”, “XLR”, “XL Test View”, “Concourse”, a plus, or willingness to learn.
