DigitalGlobe is seeking a finance intern for the summer of 2018. In this role the intern will assist the Operating Leverage team by building a financial scorecard for our products and services. This product balanced scorecard will include but not be limited to building dashboards to aggregate revenue, operating expenses, capital expenses, internal rate of return (IRR) and return on invested capital (ROIC) at the product level. The dashboards will roll up to product families and then to Line of Business. The dashboards will include product life-cycle graphics that meaningfully encapsulate the health of a product and/or product family at a glance.

By the end of their internship with DigitalGlobe, the intern will have gained an understanding of finance profit center methodologies and processes as they relate to DigitalGlobe’s vertical markets and product families. She/He will also gain advanced excel skills.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, attention to detail and time management skills are required
• Candidates must possess excellent analytical, judgment and decision making skills with the ability to adapt to change
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Basic Qualifications

• College student studying Finance, Math, Business or other technical field.
• Must have completed at least 2 years of study, preferably 3 years
• Intermediate/Advanced skills in Excel
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
