POSITION SUMMARY:

 

This internship opportunity is available for an exceptional early career college student who will thrive in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Under direct supervision, the intern will perform a variety of tasks in the lab centered around process support, material handling, and process documentation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Job performance will involve a variety of activities including:

  • Performs daily receipt and organization of materials for the LG Lab
  • Works with LG lab technicians to complete daily tasks
  • Supports the exploration and development of new process technologies in the LG lab
  • Supports feasibility studies for new process technologies in the LG lab
  • Works with the Testing Technician in the LG lab to evaluate performance of materials produced

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working in a laboratory environment is a plus.
  • Electro-mechanical equipment / experience helpful
  • Experience in a cGMP/ISO/FDA regulated facility is preferred
  • Experience with temperature sensitive materials preferred
  • Basic math and recording abilities

  • Attention to detail and proficient in data entry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to learn and grow professionally

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma / GED Required
  • Minimum of one year of college completed
