POSITION SUMMARY:
This internship opportunity is available for an exceptional early career college student who will thrive in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Under direct supervision, the intern will perform a variety of tasks in the lab centered around process support, material handling, and process documentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job performance will involve a variety of activities including:
- Performs daily receipt and organization of materials for the LG Lab
- Works with LG lab technicians to complete daily tasks
- Supports the exploration and development of new process technologies in the LG lab
- Supports feasibility studies for new process technologies in the LG lab
- Works with the Testing Technician in the LG lab to evaluate performance of materials produced
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working in a laboratory environment is a plus.
- Electro-mechanical equipment / experience helpful
- Experience in a cGMP/ISO/FDA regulated facility is preferred
- Experience with temperature sensitive materials preferred
- Basic math and recording abilities

EDUCATION:
- High school diploma / GED Required
- Minimum of one year of college completed
