Prologis is seeking a Customer Experience Technologies intern who is looking to gain experience outside the classroom to develop skills and further career interests while working on a discernible project over the 10-12 week internship. We are seeking a junior or senior in college working toward the completion of a bachelors’ or masters’ degree program. This internship is an opportunity to gain exposure to diverse areas within the Industrial Real Estate space, both Corporate and Real Estate Operation.

Project Overview: You will be passionate about using data to build business value. In this role you will look at reporting for multiple customer facing digital applications that span tenant portals to marketplaces as we look to bring insights and understanding to our business partners. This role is unique as you will gain valuable experience as a member of the IT team while working closely with business departments throughout the organization. We are looking for someone that loves to talk with and carefully listen to business people, comes up with creative solutions, and can translate business language to IT language using modeling skills and the latest technology.

What’s needed in order to do that:

• Meet with business representatives to hear about their analytics needs with a focus on digital applications and Marketing.

• Document business requirements.

• Prototype solutions, which includes modeling data using SQL and crafting reports in BI tools like Tableau.

• Collect feedback to improve prototypes.

• Collaborate with development teams to get prototypes to production.

• Participate in our team stand up’s.

• Experience working in an agile environment using software like Jira and GitHub.

• Advanced Junior or Senior level student working towards Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree .

• Coursework or experience in Computer Science or Information Systems with relevant coding background. Affinity with one or more of the following business areas is appreciated: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, Supply Chain Management.

• Ability to prioritize and handle concurrent projects well.

• Must be proficient with SQL.

• Enjoys analytical projects and work.

• Demonstrates ability to successfully multitask.

• Good communication skills, both oral and written.

• Must be well organized and highly diligent to detail.
