The Team:

The mission of the Quality Engineering team at Iterable is to ensure our customers' experience with our product is beyond exceptional. In order to accomplish this goal, our team uses a combination of Quality Assurance practices paired with building robust automation testing. Members of the Quality Engineering team need to be balanced; engineers should have a strong sense of customer empathy, while retaining good technical skills to build testing frameworks and pipelines to aid our developers in their quest to ship with high velocity and quality.

In this role you’ll get to:

As a Software Quality Engineer Intern you will have the opportunity to build the internal testing tools that aid our engineering teams to deliver features with high velocity and quality. You will have a hands-on opportunity to build and contribute into our current automation frameworks, from all layers (Integration, API, Front End). On top of that you will get experience integrating your work inside a CI/CD pipeline and learn about modern DevOps principles.

During your 12 week internship, you will be part of the Quality Engineering organization building out these tools mentioned above, while at the same time, join your mentor embedded on an engineering delivery team. You will get exposure to the lifecycle of engineering work at Iterable while learning to work cross-functionally with a diverse group of different engineering disciplines. Expect to participate in engineering events such as sprint reviews, engineering ceremonies, demo days, lunch & learns. The best part is you get to present your ongoing work in the team sprint reviews. There will also be time to connect with your fellow interns through Meet-ups and other fun social events with the teams.

 How you will make an impact:

• Develop and improve code used for automation testing of the Iterable application
• Own a major project (design, testing strategy, execution, and deployment)
• Learn core modern quality engineering principles, tools and process, and apply them to your daily work
