As the Data Virtualization Intern in our Denver, CO office, you will work on discernible projects over your 10-12 week internship.  We are seeking a junior or senior in college who is working toward the completion of a bachelor’s degree and is looking to gain experience outside the classroom to develop your skills and further career interests in the Data & Analytics field. This internship is an opportunity to gain exposure to diverse areas within the Industrial Real Estate space, both Corporate and / or Real Estate Operations and Development.

Here’s how to do that:

• Prototyping new data capabilities
• Identify performance enhancements in existing objects
• Assist and manage support relationships which includes logging and debugging data issues
• Create and monitor dashboards to maintain reliable data & systems
• Validate development migration plans
• Assist with other team projects as needed

Project Overview: The Data & Analytics team is looking for an intern with a passion for all things data.  This role will have an opportunity to explore all facets of our complex data stack in an agile environment. In this role you’ll engage with several leading technology platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Snowflake, Denodo, Tableau and many more.  We’re looking for an individual who is excited about working and learning about emerging technology and use their creativity to contribute to our always evolving data technology stack.

• Advanced Junior or Senior level student working towards Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree
• Coursework or experience in Computer Science, Math or other relevant technical subject areas
• Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent projects well
• SQL Skill required and Linux, Python or other relevant languages are a plus
• Enjoys analytical projects / work
• Demonstrates ability to effectively multitask
• Strong communication skills
• Must be well organized and highly attentive to detail
